Peace.

Have you ever experienced true peace? It seems nonexistant in a day and age of murder, constant war, falling economy and daily hardships. " Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" Matthew 11:28 Jesus has promised that each one of us can experience true peace through Him. " I am leaving you with a gift- peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give isn't like the peace the world gives. So don't be troubled or afraid." John 14:27 Augustine said" Our souls are restless until they find their rest in God". Let the peace of Jesus rule in your heart. You will love the difference you feel and see in your life. We are Gods chosen people. It says in Colossians 3:12 " Since God chose you to be the Holy people whom He loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience." It goes on to say in verse 15, " And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts, for as members of one body you are all called to live in peace. And always be thankful." Don't worry about what is happening or what will happen. The Lord has a plan for us all. He will keep you safe and give you peace of mind to know that. " I will both lie down in peace, and sleep: For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety." Psalm 4:8 "Grace be to you and peace from God the Father and from our Lord Jesus Christ." Galatians 1:3 So this is my prayer for you this day and everyday to come. May you give your worries and burdens to God and ask him to replace those worries and burdens with His ultimate peace.
